Before we get to the good stuff, some disappointing news: ALAN FURST has cancelled his formal event with us on June 2. We hope he'll have time to drop in and sign some books for us, and will let you know when those are available.


But we have a double dose of one of our favorite authors this week – you have two chances to catch Bill Fitzhugh on Saturday, depending on whether you want to hang out in Manhattan Beach with three (count 'em, 3!) authors when he joins two more of our favorites at a library event, or go one-on-one with Bill in Westwood when he presents his new book.
